Moon Knight is an American television miniseries based on the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name produced by Jeremy Slater for the streaming service Disney+. It is one of the most talked-about Disney series due to its unique style of storytelling. It is Marvel Studios’ sixth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and it follows the events of the films in the franchise. Mohamed Diab leads the directing crew, with Slater as the head writer.
With his various alters, such as Steven Grant, Marc Spector, a mercenary with dissociative identity disorder (DID), is dragged into a deadly mystery involving Egyptian gods. The story follows Steven Grant who works at the British Museum in London, where he intends to leverage his expertise of Ancient Egypt to become a tour guide. He wakes up in the Austrian Alps after sleeping one night and witnesses a cult meeting commanded by Arthur Harrow, who demands a scarab Grant has inadvertently in his possession. He has several blackouts and hears a mysterious voice in his head as he tries to flee before waking up in his home. Grant notices that it has been two days since he last slept. He discovers a concealed phone and keycard in his flat and receives a call from the phone’s most frequent caller, Layla, who addresses him as Marc.
