if you haven’t heard already, Bebe Rexha was recently involved in a really unfortunate incident during one of her concerts in New York. She was hit in the head by a phone thrown by a fan. Bebe was giving it her all, entertaining the crowd with her amazing voice and energetic performance. But then, out of nowhere, chaos ensued when the phone made contact with her head.
It was such a shocking moment, not only for Bebe but also for her fans who were there to support her. You could see the pain and surprise on her face as she collapsed to her knees. As you can imagine, the situation quickly escalated. Bebe was escorted off the stage, still in pain, with her hands pressed against her face. It was evident that the impact had affected her. In one of the videos, we can see security swiftly removing a man from the crowd as fans shouted, “That’s assault!” And you know what? They were absolutely right.
The New York Police later confirmed that a 27-year-old concertgoer had been charged with assault. Shockingly, the man admitted that he intentionally threw the phone at Bebe Rexha because he thought it would be funny. What kind of sick and twisted mindset is that?
The consequences for his actions were not taken lightly. It is being reported that he has been charged with two counts of assault, one count of harassment, one count of aggravated harassment, and one count of attempted assault.
