Dave Chappelle dropped one of his powerful special named 8:46. In this special, he talked about the killing of George Floyd and the ongoing black lives matter protests that are happening in the country. He also shared his personal story about how the event has affected him. The special was named 8:46 because it was the amount of time Derek Chauvin knelt on Floyd’s neck during his attempted arrest which killed George. It was also the exact time of birth in the birth certificate of Dave Chappelle. He not only talked about George, but he also talked about Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman, and Dylan Roof in his special.
