The End of F**king World was one of the most critically acclaimed series that premiered on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom on 24 October 2017 and later acquired by Netflix and released on 5 January 2018. Due to its popularity , it was again renewed and was released in Channel 4 on 4 November 2019 and the next day on Netflix.

Sadly, there won’t be any more season of The End of F**king World. In an exclusive interview with RadioTimes, Charlie Covell who was the creator of the show has revealed that the season two finale will be the last season of the show. When asked will she be tempted to write the third season in the future, she was happy with the ending and she has no future plan to revisit the show for now
She said she would be really sad if season 2 had not been commissioned because there was a story left for her to be told but she thinks she has completed the journey of James and Alyssa.
What was the show The End of the F***ing World about?
The first season of the series follows a 17-year-old James played by Alex Lawther who believes himself to be a psychopath and Alyssa played by Jessica Barden who has a problem in her home and sees James as her chance to escape. The first season shows the journey they took and the growth of them as a person
The second season of the show deals with the consequences of the action they took in season 1.
