There is both good and bad news for the fans of Lucifer. Good news is Lucifer got renewed for its fifth season but bad news is it will be its last season.
Lucifer was one of the Most binged series in Netflix . So , it was surprising that they cancelled the season after the fifth one. But it was not the first time Lucifer had been cancelled . Lucifer which was started at Fox was cancelled after 3 season and after #saveLucifer Campaign was saved by Netflix. But now series is again going to end once again.
Lucifer series was Loosely based on DC comic where Lucifer Morningstar played by Tom Ellis who played as Devil that abandons Hell for Los Angeles where he runs his own nightclub and becomes a consultant to the LAPD. Where he meet chloe which changes both their futures.
Showrunners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich has released the statement stating
“We are so incredibly thankful to Netflix for resurrecting our show last season, and now letting us finish the story of Lucifer on our terms”
They also thanked the fans for their support and passion for the show.
The story line or the number of episode has not been revealed yet . But the next season is most likely to release in late 2020.

Even though, This is the Final season of the show, Creator of show got chance to complete the series in their own terms . We will get a complete ending of our beloved show.
