Ryan Murphy -a famous producer producing multiple series such as pose, the politician and American horror story has revealed his next plan for Netflix originals as the part of his 300$ deal with Netflix. He is preparing for a 10 episode mini-series A Chorus Line and a drama series about Halston. For the documentary, he is planning to produce another 10 part series about artist Andy Warhol. Various news media has confirmed the report on 4th September of 2019.
He has disclosed this news on his cover story on time magazine published this Tuesday. Murphy also confirmed that Patti LuPone who is playing the guest role on Pose – his another series, will join Holland Taylor in another series “Hollywood” which would be her first original series for NetFlix featuring “the golden age of Tinseltown.”.
He also said that he’s working with his long-time collaborator Jessica Lange for a project about Marlene Dietrich in Vegas in the early ’60s but it’s still unclear whether it’s TV series or a mini-feature film. For a Feature film, he’s planning for the adaptation of The Prom starring Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman whose prep-work is still in the progress.
Before Netflix, he used to produce movies and series for 20th Century Fox TV. After the beginning of 2018, he’s shifted his overall deal from 20th Century Fox to Netflix. He is still producing American Horror Story, American Crime Story, Pose,911, and 911: Lone star for 20th century. For Netflix, he’s producing Ratched and Politician whose release date has already been finalized.
