Lovecraft Country is a new HBO hit American horror drama series that was developed by Misha Green based on and serving as a continuation of the 2016 novel of the same name. The novel was written by Matt Ruff. The series stars Jurnee Smollett who plays the role of Letitia “Leti” Lewis and Jonathan Majors who plays the role of Atticus “Tic” Freeman. The show was first telecasted on August 16, 2020, and became instantly popular with both audiences and critics.
The story of the series revolves around a young black man who travels across the segregated 1950s United States and is now searching for his missing father.
