Snowfall is an American crime drama television series that premiered on FX in 2017 and it is one of the popular and leading shows on that network. It was created by John Singleton, Eric Amadio, and Dave Andron. The story is set in Los Angeles in 1983 and centers around the city’s response to the first crack epidemic. The series recounts the lives of several characters whose paths are fated to cross: Franklin Saint, a 20-year-old heroin dealer, Gustavo “El Oso” Zapata, CIA operative Teddy McDonald, and Lucia Villanueva, the niece of a Mexican crime boss.
On September 30, 2016, FX announced that the project, which was first set up at Showtime in 2014 has been picked up for a ten-episode season.
